His portfolio encompasses diverse projects like the radiological waste facility and Kaw Lake hydroelectric plant intake structure. Dr. Ramseyer has been a member of the faculty of The University of Oklahoma in the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science since 2006, holds the rank of Associate Professor and is the Director of the Fears Structural Engineering Laboratory. He received the CEES George W. Tauxe Outstanding Professor Award in 2004 & 2011 and the College of Engineering Alumni Teaching Award in 2007. Dr. Ramseyer has personal credit for over $2 million dollars in research and over $1.1 million dollars in donations to support research. He is a leading researcher of the engineering properties of Calcium SulphoAluminate cements. His structural research interests include rehabilitation and repair of pavement and bridges and lateral load resistance of structures due to high wind events. Dr. Ramseyer is a Licensed Professional Engineer in OK , CA and WY. He was chair of the 2009 and 2015 IRC Building Technical Review Committee for the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission. He was involved in the rewriting of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation – 2009 Specification as part of the Section 500 (Bridges) Committee. He is the lead structural engineer for the award winning SkyDance Bridge in Oklahoma City. He is the only structural engineer that participated in both the NSF RAPID residential evaluation and ASCE/SEI school/commercial structure evaluation of the May 20th 2013 Tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. Dr. Ramseyer helped develop the City of Moore, enhanced building code for tornadoes and developed the Residential Tornado Provisions of the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission adoption of the 2015 International Residential Code. |

I have been with the Gracie Family since 2002. I have presented multiple self defense classes in around the Tulsa area with great success.
